For Your Planning

Cost

The cost to play on an ACT team is $125.00. This fee is due only if your child is selected for a team. Participation in tryouts is free.

The fee covers the cost of two complete uniforms (jersey, shorts & socks), an athletic bag, laminated ID card, AYSO Supplemental Insurance, the tournament fee for Section 5 Games, and two practice t-shirts.

Additional Expenses

Players are required to have shin-guards, cleats, age appropriate size ball and a water bottle. These items are supplied by parents.

Other additional expenses include travel expenses such as gas and meals. Hotel accomodations may be required for some tournaments. Accomodations can be paid for out-of-pocket or with fundraising.

Travel Time

The amount of travel involved will vary by team. Each team determines the tournaments that they will participate in.

The only required travel is to the Section 5 Games. In 2008, this tournament will be held in Knoxville, TN.

Other travel involved may include scrimmage matches which are held within driving distance and will not require an overnight stay.

Practices

ACT teams practice every Sunday afternoon. During the "off-season" of the core program, ACT teams may practice an additional day during the week. Coaches will schedule these practices according to their schedule and needs for the team.
